A decision to this effect was taken in 104th meeting of HUDA held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda who is also Chairman, HUDA.
While relaxing the terms and conditions of extension policy for completing construction on Group Housing sites, it was decided to allow the period of 12 years instead of 10 years subject to payment of additional extension fees. In the policy circulated during 1997 wherein two per cent reservation of six marla residential plots was made for freedom fighters and their children or grand children, the widow of the freedom fighters which were not covered earlier would now been covered.
Therefore, widow of freedom fighters has also been made eligible in the reservation of plots being first legal heirs.
The Authority also approved in principal the contribution in the shape of 12.5 per cent equity in the SPV namely National Capital Regional Transport Corporation (NCRTC) constituted by the government of India which will be helpful in bringing the RRTS in the NCR towns through Fast Commuter Trains.
The development projects of Rs.975.00 crores were also approved for the overall development of Urban Estates in Haryana which included one flyover at Pinjore. Three ROBs at Faridabad, water supply scheme in Rohtak and Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonepat have also been approved. For the development of Gurgaon, the project of 220 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant, construction of Master roads and water supply schemes were also approved. In Jind project of Sewage Treatment Plant of 30 MLD and Bye-pass road in Bahadurgarh has also been sanctioned.
In order to give boost to the development of Rajiv Gandhi Education City it has been decided that HUDA would construct about 100 flats so that these are available when the institutes are ready and can be used for staff residencies. HUDA would start construction of atleast two hostels of 100 rooms each.
